Layertech conducted the INAUGURAL LECTURE at the newly-inaugurated Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center and Innovation Hub (NOLITC), on Public Data Analytics for Local Government Units in Negros Occidental.
Planning officers and representatives from TEN (10) LGUs in the region joined the introductory training course. Joining the workshop is Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, Provincial Administrator of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, who expressed the support and commitment of the province towards a digitally-inclusive and data-driven governance.
Hosting the Layertech team is the Nolitc Administrator, Dr. Ma. Cristina B. Orbecido, who joined the workshop and expressed NOLITC’s commitment to globally-competitive and inclusive education.
Leading the introductory workshop is Data Scientist Frei Sangil, with the support of the Philippine ICT Innovation Network and Atty. Jocelle Batapa Sigue.
Layertech also joined the grand launch of the new NOLITC building, which is located on a 5-hectare land in Matab-ang, Talisay City. The NOLITC, the first and only government-run language and IT school in Western Visayas and is accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
