Layertech Labs, in partnership with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) Manila, conducted a 2-day Digital Economy workshop using CIPE’s Harnessing the Power of the Digital Economy (HPDE) course during the STEM in TVET Summit organized by the University of the Philippines – National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (UP-NISMED) and International Labor Organization (ILO). The summit gathered approximately 200 in-person participants and 400 online participants, many of whom are from regional offices of the Department of Education (Dep Ed), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and private sector representatives and employers.
The 2-day workshop covered HPDE’s Modules 1-5, including some of Layertech and CIPE’s programs on Digital Economy and Inclusive Digital Development. Layertech Labs also shared free voucher codes for the premium Learn2Code courses and lifetime licenses for the Business Management Console and Restaurant Management Console to the workshop completers.
The workshop concluded with sharing of contact details for future collaborations and potential roll-outs of the HPDE course.
