For students, researchers, and professionals (LEVEL 1). This is the e-workshop version of the 2-day hands-on data mining sessions that we often conduct with partner institutions/schools. Learn the basics of data mining – tools and use-cases, R environment, basic visualization, interpretation, where to find data to collect, and how to parse (basic) data from websites.
Basic requirements: College-level mathematics and statistics, intermediate knowledge of computer operation (knows how to use the internet, install software, etc.).
