Programming is an important skill in today’s world! As things get more and more digital and online, coding knowledge is definitely a big PLUS! Python is one of the most popular, most flexible programming languages in the world, with a big community around it (and demand too!).
Get your kids started with Python programming in a FUN, FLEXIBLE way!
Learn2Code series introduces Python for Teens (and Advanced Kids!). The suggested minimum age is 14 years old. Younger advanced kids may try, but we advise parents to supervise them still.
In this 3-part interactive module, you will learn key concepts and terms about programming. You will learn how to install Python packages, WHERE to get them (officially), and how to set them up on your computer! You will also learn coding logic and how to make code snippets and statements.
At the end of the course, you will have the basic know-how to start making Python programs on your own!
YOU HAVE THREE MONTHS TO COMPLETE THIS COURSE. Please make sure you have time to work on the course within the time limit.
After sending us the required output, our team will check them and we will send you a certificate! If you are working on this course as a part of a group/class, submit your outputs to your facilitator or teacher instead.

Module 1 - Introduction to Coding and the Python Environment
In this module, you will learn how to set-up the Python environment in your computer. You will also learn key programming terms and concepts.

Module 2 - Handling Data and Basic Operations (and Logic)
In this module, you will learn how to handle data and perform basic operations using the Python interface.

Module 3 - Functions and Coding the Python GUI
In this module, you will learn how to make a graphical user interface (or GUI) for your program, and how you can share your codes to other people!

If you are working on this course independently, please e-mail us your output. Otherwise, submit your output files and quiz results to your facilitator.
