Data Analytics refers to the process of analyzing data to draw out useful insights relating to a certain topic or question. Data Analytics focuses more on how the insights generated from the data can answer questions or inform solutions to a certain problem. Public Data Analytics is the use of methods and processes of Data Analytics on Public Data to inform inclusive, relevant, participatory, and efficient public sector decision-making.
The OCDex Public Data Analytics (PDA) course is co-designed by multiple stakeholders from the academe, local government, and civil society organizations, to equip Subnational Governments and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) with the key competencies required to draft a data strategy and data implementation plan tailor-fit to their organization’s requirements and capacity.
