Wuhan, China | December 5\u20137, 2025<\/strong> \u2014 Bicol University, in partnership with Layertech Labs, presented a joint research paper entitled \u201cIntegrating Citizen Feedback Analytics in Smart City Planning: A Case Study on the City of Muntinlupa, Philippines\u201d<\/em> at the International Conference on Agentic AI, held in Wuhan, China from December 5 to 7, 2025.<\/p>

The paper explores an innovative approach to smart city development by integrating citizen feedback analytics into urban planning and governance. Using Muntinlupa City as a case study, the research demonstrates how data derived from citizen feedback can be feasibly integrated into a Local Government’s standard decision support systems, through automation and machine learning. The paper demonstrated how Natural Language Processing (NLP) helps extract key insights from large amounts of text-based feedback data, supporting evidence-based policymaking, improving public service delivery, and strengthening participatory governance.<\/p>
