Layertech conducted the INAUGURAL LECTURE at the newly-inaugurated Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center and Innovation Hub (NOLITC), on Public Data Analytics for Local Government Units in Negros Occidental. <\/p>

Planning officers and representatives from TEN (10) LGUs in the region joined the introductory training course. Joining the workshop is Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, Provincial <\/a>Administrator of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, who expressed the support and commitment of the province towards a digitally-inclusive and data-driven governance.<\/p>

Hosting the Layertech team is the Nolitc<\/a> Administrator, Dr. Ma. Cristina B. Orbecido, who joined the workshop and expressed NOLITC’s commitment to globally-competitive and inclusive education.<\/p>

Leading the introductory workshop is Data Scientist Frei Sangil, with the support of the Philippine ICT Innovation Network<\/a> and Atty. Jocelle Batapa Sigue<\/a>. <\/p>

Layertech also joined the grand launch of the new NOLITC building, which is located on a 5-hectare land in  Matab-ang, Talisay City. The NOLITC, the first and only government-run language and IT school in Western Visayas and is accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. <\/p>
