As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to transform institutions, political processes, and public decision-making, the ability to understand and responsibly harness these technologies is becoming increasingly important for strengthening democratic institutions.<\/p>

On October 31, 2026, Frei Sangil, Director for Science and Technology of Layertech Labs<\/strong>, facilitated a three-hour technical workshop titled \u201cAI Tools for Democratic Resilience\u201d<\/strong> in Bangkok, Thailand. The session was conducted as part of the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) International Political Party Workshop<\/strong>, bringing together political party leaders and representatives from different countries to explore the opportunities and challenges of AI in democratic governance and political organizations.<\/p>

The three-hour workshop combined a one-hour lecture and live demonstration with two hours of interactive breakout discussions and participant presentations.
