Dominga Pena Jr., Provincial Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Albay, Ms. Elmira Shane Manlapaz from the Department of ICT Region 5, and Mr. Karl Lyndon Pacolor, Assistant Director of DTI-BPRI. Sangil stressed the need to continue exploring digital technologies and emerging technologies to keep businesses relevant, up to date, and competitive in the digital economy. The panel also raised concerns about the risks and costs associated with digitalizing business operations for MSMEs. Sangil responded by sharing new business models and service-on-demand models that make access to top-of-the-line digital technologies more feasible for smaller players.
